IELTS Coaching in Moga

The International English Language Testing System or IELTS is a test for measuring English language proficiency and is essential for non-native students to take up educational programs in countries where English is the medium of instruction. It is conducted jointly by the British Council, the Cambridge ESOL, and the IELTS Australia. The test measures the candidate’s Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills in the language. It is essential to prepare for the exam through proper Ielts Coaching to achieve high scores.

IELTS Testing Format

There are 4 modules of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing that need to be completed for an IELTS Test Report. Whilst the Listening and Speaking modules are the same, there is the option to choose between 2 different versions of Reading and Writing Modules. An Ielts Coaching program can help you prepare for all these modules:

  • Academic Training Modules: This version evaluates the candidature for undergraduate/postgraduate courses. Admissions to academic programs depend on the results of these modules.
  • General Training Modules: These modules focus on survival skills of a candidate in both educational and social situations. They are specifically meant for students who seek to take up non-degree based training programmes or secondary education in countries with medium as English.

Your Ielts coaching classes should cover all these

Registration for IELTS

There are 4 modules of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing that need to be completed for an IELTS Test Report. Whilst the Listening and Speaking modules are the same, there is the option to choose between 2 different versions of Reading and Writing Modules. An Ielts Coaching program can help you prepare for all these modules:

  • If you want to take the IELTS test, it will be required to register with a test centre. This requires submitting the application form and the test fee along with 2 passport-sized photographs and a copy of your passport.
  • Once all the documentation and fee are submitted, the test centre confirms the date and time of your IELTS test. It will be required to carry your identification or passport (as mentioned during the application process) when appearing for the test.

Points to Keep in Mind

  • All the test centres may not cover the General Training modules.
  • Look for an Ielts coaching centre that can help you prepare for all the modules.
  • Candidates will be required to mention their choice of test version at the centre without expecting the centres to provide this information to them in the first place.
  • Certain centres can also provide computer-based IELTS test for Academic Training modules without any changes in cost. Such results are usually declared within 13 days of taking the test.
  • Whilst Listening, Reading and Writing modules can be taken on the same day, the test centre may allow the Speaking module to be taken 7 days before/after other modules.
