When humans become too fragile on Earth, some people believe that due to the desire for a new homeland, citizens’ governments will spend more money on space research. This agrees entirely with that opinion.
To commence with, the fact that the World can no longer support human lives is evident. First, environmental degradation happens at a rapid rate, culminating in loss of natural resources. One strong indication of this is that the lack of clean water are becoming more serious and insurmountable to cope with, especially in developing countries. However, it is becoming more arduous and difficult than ever to counter the greenhouse effect, which has culminated not only in climate change but also in habitat destruction. This is partly due to the reliance on fossil fuels: the more people are using them, the more extreme emissions they will create.
On the other hand, space exploration played a crucial role in revolutionizing the culture of mankind. One reason is that the mysteries of the universe are revealed, which also offers human knowledge of planet Earth. The data collected from space robes, for instance, helped people understand the Earth’s history. Another reason is that space research produces a vast number of state-of – the-art technologies. One of them is satellite technology, from which satellite TV and GPS devices were developed. Work into other worlds has obviously produced a lot of spin-offs to solve Earth’s problems.
In conclusion, this essay would like to reaffirm that space exploration is important and worthy of development because this world is becoming too dangerous for human life.
